My name is Ashley Balfanz, I am the woman behind the lens.  I've been in business since 2012. I'm a full time photographer with a premiere studio in Galesville, Wisconsin. I love having a large space to edit, meet my clients, and plan sessions.  My clients have two options, they are able to have their photoshoots in studio or outdoors on location.

Why Frontier? I have always felt incredibly blessed to have grown up on a horse and cattle farm, running through grassy pastures wild and free. Most of my childhood was spent making endless memories in tree forts, riding horses and being outside in nature on a daily basis. This was my frontier - my story.

As I pulled ideas together for a business name, I wanted a brand that reflected who I am. I also wanted to invite my clients to have the experience of putting together a session that reflected a moment in their time. Frontier Photography was founded on the idea of capturing your frontier - your story. 

As the saying goes, "Time flies when you're having fun!" Well, time also flies when you get wrapped up in your day-to-day. One minute you look down at your baby and realize they are already six months old and the next you realize your baby is graduating high school.
